Self-Management & Wellbeing Modules
for Youth Groups & Home Schoolers
Self management - skills for life
Here at MySelf-Management, we have always been aware that living with a long-term condition is something most of us experience at some point in our lives, whether for ourselves or a family member or friend.
We wanted to explore how best to share self management skills and ideas with youth in Highland to build a toolbox of skills:
Skills to use right now
-
to manage and improve your health and wellbeing
-
to manage your own long-term condition(s)
-
to better understand the challenges that others are experiencing and be able to help and support them
-
to support young carers who are helping to look after parents, grand-parents or siblings who are living with a long-term condition
And skills to use later in life
-
to manage your own long-term condition(s)
-
as part of a future career
-
with work/life balance
-
to maintain a healthy balance and enhanced wellbeing in life generally
