Tomato & Mascarpone Pasta
What you'll need:
250g pasta
Salt to season pasta
200ml tomato passata
1 teaspoon tomato puree
1 teaspoon very lazy garlic
1/2 tub mascarpone
1 tablespoon oil
1 small finely diced onion
How to prepare:
Cook pasta according to packet instructions. Add oil, garlic & tomato puree to sauce pan with onion.
Fry off gently for 5 minutes.
Add tomato puree & sugar.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Add mascarpone.
Heat it all for a few minutes.
Drain pasta and mix together.

Roast Chicken Dinner
What you'll need:
1 medium whole chicken
200g potatoes
Oatmeal stuffing
Gravy
6 carrots, cut in circles
Neep or swede cut into chunks
Peas
How to prepare:
Cook the chicken according to the packet instructions.
Peel the potatoes & cut into quarters.
Par boil.
Mix in oil & salt.
Roast until crispy at 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6
Boil carrot & neeps together until soft, then mash together.
Use Bisto gravy.
Oatmeal stuffing follow package instructions for the microwave.
Boil peas according to packet instructions.

Mince, tatties, peas & carrots
What you'll need:
500g pack of beef mince
200g potatoes
1 onion, diced
Frozen baby carrots
Frozen peas
Bisto gravy
1 tablespoon olive oil
How to prepare:
Place the peeled & quartered potatoes into a saucepan with salt to boil. Approx 20/25 minutes.
Add the oil & onion to another saucepan.
Fry gently for 5 minutes.
Add the mince, stir until fully browned.
Add carrots, cover with water. Allow to simmer for about 20 minutes.
Add Peas.
Add gravy.
Cook for 5 minutes then serve.

Slow Cooker Chicken Tikka Masala
What you'll need:
12 skinless chicken thighs
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 large onion chopped
2 teaspoons very lazy garlic
1 teaspoon ginger
3 tablespoons tikka paste
500ml passata
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 tablespoon malt vinegar
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
100ml double cream
Microwave basmati rice
How to prepare:
Heat the slow cooker.
Season the chicken thighs.
Put the oil in a wide frying pan and heat.
Once hot add chicken.
Brown the chicken.
Then transfer to the slow cooker.
Add the onion, garlic, and ginger to the pan & cook for a few minutes until softened.
Add a splash of water.
Add this mixture to the slow cooker.
Add the remaining ingredients, except the cream.
Cover with the lid.
Cook on low for 5-7 hours.
Add the cream.
Cook for 10/15 minutes.
Serve with rice.

Sausage Casserole
What you'll need:
Pack of 12 pork sausages
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon very lazy garlic
1 tablespoon brown sauce
1 tablespoon tomato puree
1 tin of baked beans
200ml chicken gravy
How to prepare:
Heat the slow cooker.
Cut sausages into 3.
Add sausages, garlic, onion, brown sauce & tomato puree, mix.
Add baked beans & gravy.
Cook for 4/5 hours on low.
Serve with mashed potato.

Spaghetti Bolognese
What you'll need:
500g pack of beef mince
1 onion, diced
1 teaspoon very lazy garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon tumeric
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon tomato puree
100ml beef stock
250ml passata
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
How to prepare:
In a saucepan fry the onion & garlic in the oil. Add the mince, brown.
Add the turmeric and paprika.
Add the tomato puree, then stock.
Simmer for 5/10 mins.
Add the passata & sugar.
Simmer for 20/5 minutes.
Serve with spaghetti following the packet instructions.
